CCTV Installation Darwin

Cameras that cover what you actually need to see, a recorder that keeps enough days of footage, and remote viewing on your phone that works. Homes, shops, workshops, sheds and multi-site businesses.

Installed by people who also fix networks, so the cabling is done properly, the cameras stay off the open internet, and the mounts survive a cyclone warning.

What we fix

Design, install, and keep it recording.

Home systems

Entries, driveway, yard and blind spots covered with the right number of cameras, not a brochure pack. Four to eight channels is typical. Viewing on your phone from anywhere.

Shops, workshops and offices

Counters, entries, stock areas and car parks. Layouts planned for incident review, not just deterrence. Number-plate coverage where it helps.

Sheds, farms and rural blocks

Gates, sheds and equipment on large blocks around Howard Springs and Humpty Doo, with long cable runs and solar or wireless links where power isn’t there.

NVR and storage

Recorder sized for the days of footage you want at the quality you need. Motion zones and alerts set up so you’re not flooded with notifications every time a gecko walks past.

Remote viewing

Phone, tablet and desktop access set up securely, without opening your network to the internet.

Cabling and PoE

Structured cabling indoors, outdoors and through the roof, PoE switches with enough power budget, and surge protection on long outdoor runs for storm season.

Cyclone-rated mounting

Weather-rated cameras and mounting hardware chosen for Darwin’s wind, rain and sun, not the southern-states default.

Existing system repair and upgrades

Cameras offline, NVR not booting, no remote view, old analogue systems. We repair what we can, including NVR boards, and upgrade to IP where it makes sense.

Multi-site and monitoring

Several sites viewed from one place, health checks that confirm the cameras are actually recording, and cover under our support plans.

Questions

Common questions

How many cameras do I need?

Fewer than most packs suggest. A typical house is four to six placed well. We work it out from what you need to see, not from what comes in a box.

Can I watch the cameras on my phone?

Yes, from anywhere, set up securely. We don’t leave recorders exposed to the internet with a default password.

Wired or wireless cameras?

Wired PoE for anything that matters. Wireless cameras drop out, need charging and get interference. We use wireless links only where a cable genuinely can’t go.

My NVR stopped recording. Can you fix it?

Usually. It’s often a failed hard drive or a power supply, both cheap fixes. We also repair the recorder’s board if that’s the fault.

Will the cameras survive a cyclone?

We use weather-rated cameras and mounting hardware that suits Darwin conditions, and surge protection on the cable runs for the storm season.

Do you do Palmerston and the rural area?

Yes. Darwin, Palmerston, Howard Springs and Humpty Doo are all regular work.

Where we work

Darwin, Palmerston and the rural area.

Installs across Darwin, the northern suburbs, Palmerston, Howard Springs and Humpty Doo, with broader NT work by arrangement.

Before we visit

Think about what you actually want to see. The gate, the till, the shed door. That decides the cameras, not the other way round.

Consultation is free. Site walks are quoted and credited against the install.
