Privacy — how we handle your details

The short version

IATRT Operations Pty Ltd collects the details it needs to answer you, book you in and do the job. We do not sell, rent or trade them, and we do not hand them to anyone for marketing. We handle personal information under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

When you book a consultation or send an enquiry: your name, email address and phone number, the service you picked, whether you want to meet by phone or at the shop, any notes you type, and any photos or documents you attach (up to five files).

When you bring something in for repair: the details of the item, the fault, and what we found and did. If we recover data for you, working copies are deleted once you have confirmed you have what you need.

On this website: if you type a question into the front door, we keep the text of the question — not who asked it — so we can see what people wanted and could not find, and add it. Standard server logs record the pages requested and the address they came from.

For customers on a support plan or a system we host: the operational and diagnostic information needed to keep it running — login events, alerts, errors and related technical data.

How we use it

To reply to you, schedule and manage consultations and jobs, tell you about a change to a booking or a service, run and secure our own systems, and fix things when they break. That is all.

Who sees it

Your details stay inside systems IATRT Operations Pty Ltd runs, and are seen by the people doing the work. Where a job is delivered with our partner PC Mart — Windows devices and Microsoft 365 under a support plan — the details needed for that job are shared with them and nobody else. We disclose information outside IATRT only where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Enquiry and consultation details are kept for up to 12 months, unless the law requires longer or you ask us to remove them sooner. Job records and invoices are kept as business records for seven years, as Australian tax and company law require.

Your access

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. Email inquiries@iatrt.com or call 08 7918 8590 and we will sort it out.

Security

Our systems run on servers we control, with access limited to the people who need it. No third-party marketing platforms are used for email.

We’re the end unit of the 143 Coonawarra Rd complex, on the Mataram St corner — the same block as Top End Car Rentals and Campervan Hire.

Campers and caravans: under 12 m only, and by booking — book a time and wait for the confirmation before you drive over, so the bay is clear when you arrive.
