If it has a circuit board in it, bring it in. TVs, amplifiers, appliance boards, inverters, chargers and controllers, repaired at the component level in our Winnellie workshop.

We design and make circuit boards here, so we have the gear and the people to find the one cheap part that failed instead of replacing the whole board. That’s why things other shops call unrepairable often go home working.

What we fix

What comes through the door.

TVs

No power, no picture, no backlight, or a TV that clicks and won’t start. Power boards, backlights and mainboards on LED and LCD sets. Cracked panels are rarely worth replacing, and we say so up front.

Car audio, amplifiers and subwoofers

Head units that won’t power up, amps stuck in protect mode, subwoofer plate amps, home hi-fi and PA gear. Fault-finding on the board, not a guess-and-swap.

Appliance control boards

Washing machine, dishwasher, oven, air-conditioner and fridge control boards. Often the only part that failed on an appliance that’s otherwise fine.

Inverters, chargers and power supplies

Solar inverters, 12V inverters, battery chargers, DC-DC chargers, UPS units and switch-mode power supplies. Blown capacitors, MOSFETs and rectifiers replaced.

E-scooters and e-bikes

Chargers, controllers, displays, throttles and wiring faults. Bring the charger with it.

Industrial controllers and PLCs

Bring it in

4/143 Coonawarra Rd, Winnellie, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, with any power supply or remote that goes with it. Big or bolted-down gear can be seen on site.

We diagnose it

Free. We test it on the bench, find the failed part, and give you a written quote for parts and labour.

You decide

If the repair costs more than replacing the item, we tell you. If it’s worth doing, we do it and test it before it leaves.

Questions

Common questions

Is my TV worth repairing?

If the screen is intact and the fault is power, backlight or a board, usually yes. If the panel is cracked, almost never. Bring it in and we’ll tell you which it is for free.

Do you repair car stereos and amplifiers?

Yes. Head units, amplifiers and subwoofer amps are common jobs. Bring the unit and its wiring harness or plug if you have it.

Can you fix the control board in my washing machine or oven?

Usually. Appliance boards mostly fail from a relay, a capacitor or a burnt track, all of which we can repair. Take a photo of the model label before you pull the board so we can check the part.

How long does a repair take?

Diagnosis is usually within a few days. Repairs with parts on hand are often done the same week. Ordered parts add their shipping time, which we tell you when we quote.

Do you repair inverters and solar equipment?

Yes, at the board level, including units damaged by storms. Mains-side electrical work on your switchboard is a job for a licensed electrician; we work on the equipment itself.

What if it can’t be fixed?

You pay nothing for the diagnosis, and we tell you what it would take to replace it sensibly.

Darwin, Palmerston and the rural area.

The workshop is in Winnellie. Callouts cover the city, the northern suburbs, Palmerston, Howard Springs and Humpty Doo, and we take courier jobs from Katherine and remote communities.
