Darwin Service
Electronics Repair & Design Darwin
Circuit board repair, inverter repair, PCB diagnostics, and electronics support for commercial, industrial, and field systems with a repair-first, longevity-focused approach.
We work on PCBs, circuit boards, inverters, power supplies, embedded controllers, interfaces, and legacy electronic assemblies from our Winnellie workshop.
Scope can extend from fault isolation and service through redesign, reverse engineering, replacement boards, test fixtures, and prototype support. Where redesign is needed, the aim is maintainability, upgradeability, and longer service life rather than a short-term patch.
Service scope
Boards, controllers, redesign, and validation support.
Diagnostics & Circuit Board Repair
- Circuit board repair — component-level fault finding and soldering
- PCB diagnostics, trace repair, and pad rework
- Controller and interface board service
- Power path and signal integrity fault isolation
Inverter, Power Supply & Embedded Repair
- Inverter repair — solar inverters, power inverters, and UPS units
- Power supply repair and rebuild — switch-mode, linear, and DC-DC converters
- Firmware-assisted diagnostics and embedded system fault tracing
- Stability fixes, upgrade paths, and reliability improvements
Redesign & Replacement Boards
- PCB design and redesign for failed or legacy boards
- Prototype builds, replacement assemblies, and validation planning
- Reverse engineering where documentation is missing, with future serviceability designed in where practical
Test & Support Tooling
- Custom fixtures and test equipment for fault reproduction
- Workshop fabrication support for brackets, enclosures, and mounts
- Documentation, handover notes, and support records where ongoing maintenance is required
Consultations
Free consultation by phone or at our Winnellie workshop. On-site callouts are charged separately. The initial consultation is used to confirm scope, expected effort, and the most appropriate next step before major work begins.
We provide clear scope, timing, and cost expectations before major work starts.
